Five generations of the Hooper Family have owned Highgate.

Alex Hooper (4th) and Arenhold Hooper (5th) are actively involved with tending to the smooth operation of the farm.

We look forward to personally meeting you.

Inside our Ostrich 'Palace', which was built in 1902, we have a homely restaurant where many visitors, after visiting the farm, enjoy the original taste of Ostrich dishes. Ostrich steaks were first served at Highgate over 30 years ago.

We opened our doors to the public in 1938 and since then have enertained royalty, presidents, prime ministers and soon you.
